It can be tricky deciding whether or not to keep your child off school when they’re unwell.
There are government guidelines for schools about managing specific infectious diseases, click on the “Spotty Book” icon below for the A to Z of Childhood Illness. These say when children should be kept off school and when they shouldn’t.

A reminder that, if you do keep your child at home, you must phone school on each day of their absence and let us know that your child won’t be in school and give us the reason.
The National Child Measurement Programme
Each school year the School Nursing team come into school to measure and weigh Reception and Year 6 children.
